Oh soooo in LOVE with love when I witness these two! It’s not every day that I get a story from both the bride and groom!!
This time lets hear from the sweet Groom:
I still remember the first time I laid my eyes on my wife. I was a senior in high school and she was a junior. She was super smart and was in my senior level physics class. She was wearing a fox hoodie. Throughout the year I mingled with her on multiple occasions mostly about class work. I always felt protective of her but wasn’t sure why. Moving forward two years I was in my sophomore year of college. On a winter day I was walking from my math class to my biology class and noticed a very beautiful woman ahead of me. As soon as we crossed paths we both locked eyes and I asked, “Miranda?”
Over the next few months we became very good friends and I knew I had to make a decision to just stay friends or become more than that. She said she went on a date and didn’t know if it was going anywhere. That’s when I knew I would never have another chance with this kind of love! So I asked her out and took her on an amazing date. (Dinner, a movie, and a walk in Old Town Spring) I didn’t know it at the time but I already loved her. On 01/18/13 I asked her to be my girlfriend. As soon as we started dating I knew she was wife material. I wanted to make sure that I didn’t make any mistakes with her. I was very conservative and treated her with the up most respect. We didn’t hold hands until the second date. And on our fifth date we finally kissed. It was a very magical moment.
After a few more weeks of dating she said something funny and I slipped and said, “Ah I love you….re face”. She knew what I meant. A few months ahead we both confessed our love for each other. A few more months ahead we knew that we had an obstacle to face. I already transferred to SHSU and she was about to as well. The problem was that she had nowhere to live up there. I came up with the idea of having her move in with me. After getting her mother’s permission we started living together.
After a few more months of living together we both decided to get a puppy. It was a completely random day without any plan. Little did we know that our baby would bring us so much closer. We had a responsibility together. I knew I already wanted to marry her. I bought her ring four months before I proposed. I wanted it to be extremely special. I had no idea what to do or were to propose. Low and behold we got the idea to go to take a vacation to Disney World. Disney is my wife’s life!
Our first day at Disney, 05/12/15, I was so nervous to propose. I scrambled around the park trying to find the perfect spot to propose. After a few minutes running to the castle and back trying to find someone to take a picture of us I finally found a guy enjoying the castles glory. I asked him if he could take a video of me proposing. I got down on one knee and started to tear up, Miranda looked so beautiful. I asked her to be apart of my life forever and marry me. She said yes!
Moving forward about a year and a half it was our wedding day 11/11/16. I was so nervous to see her. I knew that this was the beginning to our forever. As soon as I saw her I couldn’t hold in my emotions. She was so beautiful! The ceremony flew by and all I could think about is how much she means to me. I asked myself how do I deserve such a beautiful person. I am the luckiest man in the world! She is an absolute angel! The reception went off without a hitch! It was such an amazing night and it couldn’t have gone more perfect.
