Mr. & Mrs Hernandez

June 28, 2017

Talk about an adventurous couple!  It was storming the day of their wedding but stopped for about half of our outside photos!  It decided to pour on us in the middle of our Bride and Groom portraits about half way out on a trail at the Houston Arboretum. We attempted to take cover in the trees for a couple of minutes and then we all decided ‘Let’s just do this’!  Yasmin and Jerry completely embraced being in the rain for their wedding portraits and at one point even danced in the rain!  As you will see below! =) I think this was such a testament to who they are!  I think they are going to have a long fun, adventurous and happy life together!

Here is a little from my beautiful bride Yasmin;

Jerry and I actually met at a music festival, after being online friends for a while. We were two teenagers with a MySpace trying to make new friends. Later, when we actually got to talking, we realized we had gone to the same high school and we had never met! He was just a year older than me, but we never crossed paths! We like to talk about our first impression of each other when we actually met in person, and we both agree that we felt the beginning of something really special. After 3 or 4 months of being friends, he finally asked me to be his official girlfriend, awww! 4 years later he popped the big question, at the El Paso Airport on a December 23rd! It was meaningful because we used to have dates there and dream about traveling the world together one day when we were younger. Now, we get to travel with each other our whole lives, and I couldn’t be happier! We love going on adventures and seeing new place together! He makes the best travel buddy ever. I gotta say I lucked out. 🙂

I wish you many more dances in the rain!  I love you both and am so thankful to be invited in as a friend and made me feel like family!  =)  xoxo M
