Kellie & Matthew

April 2, 2019

Congratulations to my sweet couple Kellie & Matthew! We had such a beautiful day for their engagements and soaked up every last bit of light that we could! They were just the cuteset together and had such an easy love together! I can not wait for their special day! Here is a peek from our session together and their love story from my pretty bride Kellie!

Matthew and I first met in the spring of 2016 at Sam Houston State University. We were both involved in Beta Alpha Psi, an accounting organization, and had mutual friends. I can honestly say that Matthew peaked my interest shortly after meeting him; his strong values and intelligence intrigued me, not to mention his good looks. Over the next two years, we maintained a distant friendship, but a professor and a couple of my close friends pushed for Matthew and I to date. In January of 2018, my friend and I began working out with Matthew and our relationship started growing. Over the next couple months we became friends and started getting to know more about each other.

In March 2018, the day before Spring Break, Matthew asked me to go to
Smoothie King with him. I was so excited to tell my family over Spring Break about the amazing guy who had taken me out on the sweetest smoothie date. When we got back to school, Matthew was eager to show me his newly learned dance moves so our second date was dance practice in his apartment. He knew I enjoyed dancing, so he had his aunt teach him some moves over the break… how sweet is that!?

Matthew officially asked me to be his girlfriend on April 28 th while sitting
next to a pond in a park in College Station. We both began our relationship intentional, believing we were stepping into something that would only grow and potentially lead to marriage. It didn’t take me long to recognize Matthew was the man God intended to be my Husband.

On January 5 th , 2019, Matthew took me on a wonderful date that led to a
proposal in the middle of the beautiful trees on South Blvd in Houston. He had our friend there to capture the moment and presented me with an amazing ring. My response was something along the lines of “YES, YES, YES!”

Looking back into my season of singleness, I know that God was preparing me to be Mrs. Brossart and to love and support Matthew through all of our adventures. Who knew that going out for a Strawberry Smoothie could lead to such a blessing! Our God is so good.
